"Why would you give that NIGGER an alibi?" Words from lead dics on Baseline task team.
(Phoenix Law Enforcement Association memo)
THE CRIMES CONTINUE
People have asked; how do we explain that the crimes have stopped
since Mark’s arrest? Do people really believe that the police
will call the ongoing crimes "Baseline" crimes? The police are
not going to undermine their own theory and attribute any current
as Baseline crimes.
I once asked Michael Kiefer with The Arizona Republic how and
where they got information for their news stories and he told me
that they “rely on the police” to give them details. He could
tell by the look on my face I was surprised to hear this, after
all don’t reporters research and verify facts independent of the
police? Is investigative reporting an oxymoron? “Well” he said,
“we have to rely on them for information. Otherwise, they shut us
out."
And there it is. The police tell the media what they want us to
hear and don’t tell the media what they don’t want us hear. It’s
a manipulation, and people want to believe so we allow ourselves
to be manipulated. People only believe what they want to believe
and don't want to think that the police have screwed up and
lied and that an innocent person has been charged with the
Baseline crimes. The Baseline crimes do continue and if people
would think for themselves and not rely on the news as a way to
educate themselves they would realize that.
The police will NEVER attribute the ongoing rapes, assaults,
robberies and murders to the Baseline crimes since that would
undermine their theory against Mark The State and police, the
county attorney, and mayor would rather sell their own children
than admit they’ve made a mistake. While city officials and
politicians pound their chests and pander to the crowds, the
insidiousness of the rush to charge Mark is that not only do the
victims and victims’ families feel a false sense of justice but
the person who actually committed these crimes is spared from
prosecution.
Here are just a few crimes that are similar to the Baseline
crimes. Many of the crimes in the news are only given minimal
mention with never a follow up. The police blaming some murder
victims saying that it appears to be drug related as a way pass it
off and avoid giving real information. And, honestely, there were
so many, I stopped following and gathering data.
